"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world;
indeed, it's the only thing that ever has." Margaret Mead
We believe that a community is only as strong as its weakest member, which is why we are committed to giving back and lending a hand to others during times of need. For a few hours each week, attorney Danielle M. Rattray provides tutoring assistance to youth through the Reading and Writing Club; a program offered through the Denver Rescue Mission at its Crossing location. The Crossing is a clean and safe residential community that provides long-term rehabilitation and transitional housing to individuals and families who desire to achieve a life of self-sufficiency and community contribution.
Denver Rescue Mission offers a variety of ways for individuals to get involved and elevate their community. Whether you are seeking long-term volunteer opportunities or require something a bit more flexible, there are numerous opportunities available. Please visit denverrescuemission.org to learn more.
On Tuesday, December 10, 2013, we will be participating in a community event to draw attention to Denver's homeless youth. Come join us at Urban Peak's 921 Project at 8:00 a.m. at 730 21st Street/21st and Stout, Denver, CO to show your support!
